Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Aquaculture, (RGCA), a society under the MPEDA engaged in the development of new Aquaculture technologies through R&D invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts for appointment on Deputation/ Contract basis through a Walk in interview /test to be conducted at the Office of Marine Products Export Development Authority, MPEDA House, Panampilly Avenue, Panampilly Nagar, Kochi – 682 036 on the 27th, 29th and 30th April 2011.
1 Project Manager – 1
The consolidated salary for contract employees indicated shall be applicable for a period of 6 months and will be enhanced subsequently on satisfactory performance during the 6 months period as Rs. 39,600 (Project Manager), Rs. 25,200 (Asst. Project Manager), Rs. 21,600 (Jr. Project Manager) Rs. 18,000 (Asst. Technical Manager) Rs. 12,000 (Technician) and Rs.14,400 for the Accountant respectively. Candidates posted at Andamans are eligible for allowances as per RGCA norms. Age limit and qualifications are relaxable in respect of MPEDA/TASPARC/OSSPARC/RGCA/NACSA/NETFISH and other departmental candidates.
Research work leading to M Phil or Ph.D or Post Doctoral degrees will not be counted as experience. Real field experience is necessary. Those candidates who are opting for deputation from MPEDA/OSSPARC/TASPARC may forward their application through proper channel to
reach the Secretary MPEDA, Kochi on or before the 20th April 2011 and the candidates working on contract at RGCA/NACSA/NETFISH interested in applying for the above posts may forward

photograph. Candidates appearing for interview on the 29th and 30th April 2011 should present the above for verification on the 28th and 29th April 2011 respectively between 9.00 AM and 5.00 PM.
